We’ve all heard it. Melissa Rycroft, the woman who got rejected after the final rose ceremony in favor of the other woman, is now on Dancing With The Stars. It didn’t sit right with me. I mean he put on one of his best ties, polished up, and totally blew her out of the water with this unexpected statement that he never let a hint on about before that, and he did that on national television. I mean people break up after the Bachelor all the time, do it with some kind of privacy and dignity! All the time he was saying well I feel bad and she has the right to be angry with me, well ya she has the right to be angry with you. You didn’t have the decency to tell you behind closed doors that he made a mistake! That aside, Melissa Rycroft apparently has several spots throughout the media now popping up for her. I don’t think it is likely to make up for being dumped like that. But you take what you can get right? Either way, she only has a few days to prepare for the show before she is expected to perform on the first episode of Dancing With The Stars. I have to say, I hope she does well. And it’s not like other women haven’t gone off The Bachelor and found somebody else who actually was the love of their life shortly thereafter. You gotta hope that her being there and being picked initially at least kicked somebody amazing’s butt into gear. People are funny like that. They just assume somebody’s going to be there the whole time, until there’s actually a possibility of that person going away. And then they completely freak out. And frankly, she’s a lot cuter than some of the past ones have been. Still, it was an interesting season finale and after the final rose to watch. I mean wearing one of his best ties and dressing up both to dump the girl he thought was a mistake and try to get back together with the girl he decided he wanted. It doesn’t matter how nice you may look, you’re doing it in front of the entire world! You just wish they would’ve not done an after the final rose when it was that bad. They did a closed session to “respect the individuals involved.” You really shouldn’t air the time when he actually dumps her at all if you have that much “respect” for the people involved.
