Dhaka yet to seek revised Asian Highway accord

Bangladesh is yet to decide whether it will seek the amendment to the Asian Highway agreement paving the way for accepting the Jessore-Mongla-Dhaka-Chittagong-Teknaf-Myanmar route as one of the international routes of the Asian Highway, according to a source. Earlier it was indicated that Bangladesh might seek amendment to the Asian Highway agreement in the next working group meeting of the ESCAP scheduled to take placereplica watches in Bangkok on September 2 next.
