Inspired by the ThinkPad X300, the T400 measures 0.83 of an inch and weighs in at under 4 pounds. With a 14.1-inch LED screen, the T400s gets the option of solid state drive storage and Lenovo's "Top Cover Roll Cage", made from monocoque carbon reinforced fibre, that makes the laptop super-sturdy.

According to recent reports, Lenovo(THINKPAD X60 battery) has introduced the VIA-based IdeaPad S12 configuration as an alternative to the company's current Ion-based laptop, which is believed to have been delayed until later this year, in October. The VIA-based IdeaPad S12 will provide users with a choice for a VIA Nano ULV 2250 processor, clocked at 1.3GHz and paired with 1GB of DDR2 667MHz memory. The system's graphics chipset is also a VIA product, Dell Precision M65 Batteries,namely the integrated Chrome9 ICH3 solution, which is capable of enabling a 1280 by 800 pixel resolution on the 12.1-inch screen.

The CPU is an ARM chip from Texas Instruments, the OMAP3530, running with 256MB RAM and 256MB of NAND memory. There is no hard drive — instead you get an 8GB SD card. You’ll also find Wi-Fi, Bluetooth,DELL Inspiron 5000 Batteries ,a 3D accelerometer and three USB ports. The display is held in place by magnets (and spikes, as you see in the picture).

In another sign of convergence, Finland-based Nokia (NOK), the world's biggest handset developer, has decided to develop netbooks HP HSTNN-IB64 battery-- which could become the holy grail of portable communications, according to Daniel Amir, an analyst with Lazard Capital Markets. While Nokia has yet to make an official announcement, the company will likely release its first netbook next year.
