Straight bankruptcy - an informal term for a Chapter 7 bankruptcy or liquidation; used more commonly to describe liquidation before the Bankruptcy Reform Act of 1978.
Rule 2004 - (see Bankruptcy Rule 2004) "Chapter 22" - an unofficial term describing a company that has filed for Chapter 11 twice. Confirmation - the final approval by the bankruptcy court of a debtor's plan of reorganization. Confirmation takes place after the plan has been approved by creditors.(Kelly G.
