Acne is one of those problems that can happen at any point in life and we donít know exactly how or what cause it. Hundreds of remedies have passed from mother to child and doctor to patient, but most just treat the result and not the cause. Popular treatments being currently developed and used by many are sold over the counter or in prescription doses, but there are safe and natural alternatives to treat acne that can be found right in your kitchen.
Even though natural treatments are safe and donít contain chemicals that can harm your skin or dry it out, they should be used in the proper way. Over application of anything to your skin could have negative effects, and even natural remedies do not work if they are not used properly. The following are some natural remedies that you can make with things that you may already have in your kitchen.
Oranges and coriander are two things that most kitchens are stocked with, or at least can be bought from the grocery store with ease. Oranges are great for more than just eating or turning into a cool glass of orange juice. One of the reasons its consumption is encouraged is because of the health benefits they have for you. The rind of an orange has its uses as well, and used in an acne treatment it can help dry out acne breakouts that are already showing on your face. Apply the rind to your face twice a day and lightly rub it over any breakouts. Rinse and dry. acne treatment
Coriander is the other easy to apply natural home remedy for acne. Usually it is used in the kitchen to garnish or add taste to dishes, but in treating acne it is an effective face wash. Add fresh coriander to a pot of boiling water and let it boil for eight to ten minutes. Remove the coriander and allow water to cool completely. Use the infused water to wash your face once daily. Rinse and dry.
